CMS Important Dates
Teachers have the option of keeping a regular paper grade book to record and calculate their grades OR use Integrade Pro which is capable of calculating end of term grades automatically. The program is also capable of generating and emailing progress reports.
Regardless of your choice, it is important to note that your grade book is considered a legal document and must be maintained carefully and diligently. It is advisable to periodically print paper copies of your Integrade Pro spreadsheets as a backup.
Training sessions will be scheduled to help teachers set up their Integrade Pro Grade book and spreadsheets. If you do not use integrade Pro, you will need to manually calculate your end of marking period grades and type all of your end term information directly into ClassroomXP - a component of SASI (Student Information Series). At CMS, teachers utilize the ClassroomXP to view student information. At this time, we do not use ClassroomXP for student attendance.
End term information includes your final grade average (A-F), conduct grade (N,O,S), 1-2 comments, and a grade for effort (N,O,S).
Integrade Pro users are able to export their grades directly into ClassroomXP at the end of each marking period. ClassroomXP remains in a READ ONLY mode throughout most of the marking period for security purposes. Privileges are opened for a limited time period at the end of each marking period to enable teachers to export, input and/or edit grades. |
