What will you need?
Infinite Campus is web based and will work from any browser with an Internet connection. Unlike ClassXP and Integrade Pro, everything you need to do will be in one program. Your data will be accessible from school and/or home.
You will need an up-to-date version of Adobe Acrobat Reader and JAVA (both free downloads). School computers should already have Acrobat and Java installed. If not, please contact your building technician.

Expectations for Teachers
The high school will begin taking period attendance with Infinite Campus when we return from spring break (March 31st). The elementary and middle schools will also utilize the attendance feature beginning in September 2008. Details and training will be forthcoming.
Because a final grade and culmative average must be calculated at the high school level, each building facilitator will supply specific instructions.
For this school year (2007-08), middle school teachers will need to input their 4th marking period final grades into Infinite Campus. This leaves two options.
1. Calculate your grade in a paper grade book, Integrade Pro, or whatever method you currently use, and then type in your end term grade, effort, comments, etc...Into Infinite Campus - just as many of you have done in SASI/ClassroomXP.
2. Set up your grade books in Infinite Campus for the 4th marking period. Your final grade will be calcuated for you in Infinite Campus. The teacher coaches will provide support for this choice.
You may also elect to keep a back up paper or IGPro gradebook. IGPro will remain active until the end of the school year; however, the 4th MP grade will not be exported to SASI. It is highly recommended that you keep some form of alternative grading backup if you select this option.
